Asthma and Allergy Foundation launched My Breath Is My Life project on the 18th of April 2023 in Edinburgh supported by The Lord Provost of the City of Edinburgh, other council officials, NHS partners and representatives from Trusts and Foundations.
Over the last two years, the organisation has been delivering a range of essential asthma workshops and management sessions to help children and young people with asthma in Edinburgh, Lothians & Scottish Borders to better manage their symptoms, improve education outcomes and enjoy a greater quality of life. The project also provide practical support to parents of children with asthma and those who care for them including teachers across schools to learn vital skills with which they can support children and young people who live with their condition long term.
This project was made possible by a substantial grant from Cyril & Ray Corcoran who sadly lost their 17-year-old son to an asthma attack, with contribution from many trusts and foundations, including The Hospital Saturday fund.
We need to raise an additional £120,000.00 to continue this important project as we have a long waiting list of those waiting for this urgent support.
Help us reach the target of raising £120,000.00 by donating today.
